A good spray paint I have used is Krylon Short Cuts. I buy it at Michaels. With an airbrush, look at Apple Barrel acrylics. They come in a multitude of colors. Also at Michaels.

I was looking for a Lewis gun for my Electrifly SE-5a and found a Parkzone gun (PKZ 5512) which is abouut the same scale. Anyone have this Lewis gun? If so, how does it look?

I have the electrifly Fokker D-VII, 36" wingspan. There is no tail wheel, it has a tail skid just as the real one did in WWI.

All my connectors are Deans. Wipe a film of mineral oil on the contacts and then sprinkle a little powdered graphite on them. They all work smooth as silk.

Thanks Beemerider and rags. The stuff I bought is in a very small bottle and I did get the blue on advice from the guy at the LHS. Also nice to know about the fingernail polish alternative.

I've had excellent paint jobs using Krylon Short Cuts. It comes in small spray cans in a wide variety of colors. It's foam safe and can be found at craft stores like Michaels.

I fly a Hawk Sky and have for a couple of years. If I had it to do over, I think I would look into buying a Bixler from Hobby King. The Bixler was not available when I got my Hawk Sky.
