Both lawn-darted hard into the lake ice. :( Lots of pieces to pick up.
I do like this style plane for year-round flying.

Is this fine or do I need to also run them in discharge mode after to get them down...

Hold trainer switch on DX6i. Turn on DX6i. Release trainer switch after a few beeps.
It should bind within a few seconds. Very simple....
