grass

You must be landing on grass. I land on pavement and bend back the nose wheel but I am improving. Gorilla glue will help you.
BTW the plane flies better as a hand launch, no wheels

Why bother

Why bother with all the landing gear hassles?
Warbirds are supposed to fly wheels up. I removed landing gear and hand launch it. It flys better with no wheels too
