If you haven't got that set-up yet you could always go with the one i put in my PZ F4U corsair,i put a Turnigy G10 motor in mine and the only mod i had to do was shave a tiny amount of plastic off...

Yeah building your own is the way to go IMO and you will save quite a good bit also,flitetest has some really good videos on how to setup the Hobbyking board for that quad,plus there are quite a few...

Sounds as though the motor has given up and/or he ESC,now this has happened i'd tend to just go with a brushless motor and a new brushless ESC now as the dahawk as done.

Most 480 motors will work...

Yeah you should be good with that mate as it says it will work with any system and they normally do,so i'd say you will be be fine as long as you are using a Pal camera set up but it will still work...

I'd say go for a T-28 too but i'd go for the Hobbyking one because it has all the hop parts we tend to do with our older PZ warbirds,like adding retracts,lights well you get the point :D
