I can't watch the video where I am (lack of bandwidth). But my guess based on what you wrote would be the wheel is used for it's gyroscopic effect. Helping keep the aircraft stable in flight.

JPF, I printed out and assembled that plan for the lightning II. I think you could build it as is and use the 28mm EDF and guts out of an UMX Habu. It is about the right size.:cool:

Carefull using the expanding glue, I used it on a fuse once, it pushed the foam apart then hardened. Make sure you use tape or something to keep the wing braced in the shape you want.
