I'm trying to make sense of prefix numbers with electric rc motors such as 2410-08. Do these numbers refer to anything in particular or are they simply stock numbers? Thanks:confused:

Is there any way to test a brushless motor to find out if it will run? Short of connecting esc and battery. Also is there some way to check out a esc?:roll:

OK. I think I understand the throttle wires now. Need help connecting motor to esc. Both are erc(hobby lobby). Battery leads are color coded red blue & black. Esc motor wires are all black. HELP

There was a very detailed sheet about how to use and program the esc. The exception was the part that said plug esc into receiver. Diagram was small and no help either.

Thanks so much. Do have a multimeter and will start using it more. I thought the ecs must plug in as you said. It just didn't make sense to plug it into the batt slot.
