You are correct, it's not worth repairing the servo. The repair costs are high to discourage repair and to sell more servos. FishHawk

Tip on epoxying glass tape

Thanks for the suggestion.

I will try your suggestion about the kwik link . Right now I'm working on not using any links at all and letting the servo arm push up against the spoiler and then keeping it shut with a magnet....
