I would say no, the ESC needs to get its power from some place. You will need the flight pack connected to the ESC.

The center wire is the one that needs to be removed.

If the cell that is at 4.20 volts continues to charge faster than the rest that is a weak cell, I would not use it. Weak cells will typically charge faster than good cells

Crystals don't know what shift they are being installed in. That is why a Berg receiver can use the same crystal for both positive and negative shift.

Mine seems to be the best with low timing and fast start. Still does it sometimes when I advance the throttle slowly but if I advance the throttle fast it starts every time (so far at least).
