FWIW, some Castle controllers have attachment points for the motor wires at different lengths from the end of the board they're soldered to... so even if your motor wires were exactly the same...

I dunno - most people seem to use Formosas for pattern but even the Formosa 1 with an 8 inch prop does great rolling harriers some nice spins and can hover. The F2 is better with those huge surfaces...

hah.. it wouldn't be pretty... hit a wingtip doing a low rolling harrier and it got busted up pretty good - elevator and aileron knocked off/broken, motor flew off because of my crappy stick mount.....
