My charger balances in storage mode, it will not do so without the balance plug connected. I rarely use storage mode, as most flights I take the charge down right around where storage mode would put...

It was mainly the rudder servo that people were complaining about. The only way I can see it being and issue is if you land on the tail itself. Stripping a servo in flight seems highly unlikely to...

E-Flite Inverza 280

I have taken the Inverza 280 for a few flights, nothing too extreme, just some knife edges, inverted flight, hovering (attempting), etc.

First off, the plane came well packaged, except one wing...

I've had no issues with the 2s packs from Eflite for my UMX Pitts, although I use the hyperion 500mah packs mainly.

Storage mode should automatically balance, but balancing is to allow cells to not overcharge or discharge too much. Typically you want cells 0.01V of each other, or at least that's what I've read.

Wonder if it would be possible to add a heli setup so to speak. Seems possible to extend the motor shaft, and install a swash. As you don't want directional control, maybe connecting the three...

You have two of 'em now? Wow! My Pitts is looking a little beat up to say the least. Found out I had an issue with my radio antenna, and I was flying with no antenna essentially. It lost reception...

Well, it's good not to be a show with off your skills...crashing is the best way. I'm hoping my next flights after the repair will be better.

Just got the Inverza 280. No maiden yet, forgot to get batteries for it. Amazing looking plane, but the foam is an odd texture, not sure to call it fragile, as it scratches like the regular z foam or...

From what I see of parts, it's seems the boom is the only potential way. I'm used to loctite for rc cars. A car going 80mph and a pinion or mount loosens...good bye gears. Stripping sockets is an...

Can the belt be tightened, or is it a case of a new one once it is too loose? It's certainly not easy accessing the belt.

So clearly the best bet is a pitch gauge, that way you know exactly what the pitch is, and don't rely on guessing with the curves.

That they are. So it seems it wood to learn and CF for the rest. As for headspeed, I do run at about 80% throttle. With my crash, it was only 50% actually, in idle up mode. Not sure, but maybe it...

Some swear by the HS65HB or MG servos, I went with the HB, due to a tighter gear meshing. I'll see how they do, and progress from there, perhaps the ones you mentioned. I found the 450x perfectly...

So I would be best learning on lower headspeeds? Seems it increases flight time too. I'm still trying to figure out what -100 to 100 curves translate to from 0 - 100.

I'll probably just make up a balancing device, may buy one at some point, already spending too much. Are CF blades the best to go for, or would glass fiber suit me just fine for basic flight?
