Turn DX6i off. Power the brick and wait until...

Turn DX6i off.
Power the brick and wait until it's flashing.
Hold trainer switch on DX6i. Turn on DX6i. Release trainer switch after a few beeps.
It should bind within a few seconds. Very simple....

The software will just ask for wingspan and airfoil shape (cross section). It should get you in the ballpark but, by no means, a definitive setup.

You'll want to know the approximate weight of the plane, then figure out the wing loading and power requirements (using Motocalc or similar program)...

The lipo may be fine if it has been stored at the proper voltage (3.85v +/- per cell).

I lawn-darted my Polaris last weekend and it's perfectly fine, thanks to 30" of soft snow.
Bare ground would have totaled it for sure.

Those are big ailerons so I'd go light on the deflection of those and dial in a bunch of expo. if you have that available. You've got lots of rudder there too so go easy.

As mentioned earlier, I love my Ares Gamma 370 Pro (+ 3ch. wing for lazier days).
I'd love a Fun Cub some day...

As you get more planes and/or helis you'll want to upgrade to a TX that stores settings for multiple planes (like the DX6i or better)
