You could not be comparing two more different planes. The Champ is VERY slow, slower than the stick if slow is what you want - that is your choice. It will easily fly in small outdoor spaces.
The Stik is a pocket rocket.
It is very aerobatic and has a wide speed range. It will do amazing things! It is a cheap TX and yes it has trims. But it is more advanced and aerobatic than the Champ.
