I recall seeing this manuver years back done at contesting, a slow walk around covering all angles, correctly the Heli stays in position as pilot does the 360 walk.
Rather futile attempt shown but managed a few shuffles around without crashing, least made it around, fun to try.

Again successful only when copter stays stationary no drifts, also the pilot does a slow deliberate walk around, not a side walk shuffle, lol.
