you will need a UBEC with this ESC, as larger ESC normally dont have BECs built in.

with this 60 size 580KV motor i would use a 5 or 6 cell lipo. 4500 to 5000mah and 20C Rated, hobby kings turnigy lipo is one of the better values in price, they have a USA Warehouse if your in the states.
