I have a fatally crashed Radian Pro, so I salvaged all the parts and built an airboat using the Radian motor (960Kv). I had to purchase a new ESC (Hobbyking redbrick 30amp). I tested the craft for the first time yesterday, and I was only able to get about one minute out of it before the motor stopped. Nothing got wet.
I wasn't sure if it was a blown ESC or motor (the ESC was quite warm, I noticed), but anyhow, I tested the motor with the ESC from my Icon a5, and the motor still works fine.
My only conclusion is that the redbrick ESC couldn't handle the chore, but it's the same spec as the eFlite that it replaces.
