Anyone ever disassemble LADO retracts?
I have a set of LADO 60-1 retracts on my Kyosho 50 Spitfire, one started operating intermittently, seems to be a busted wire right where the cable goes into the case.
I already know I will be slotting the small pan-head hex key screws to get the green cover off, the other screws will be fairly easy to deal with, but what will I see when I get this puppy open?
Any difficult steps to the disassembly?
I'm not hoping too hard I can cut/reattach the cable with just the green cover off, but that'd be nice.
BTW the wire broke most likely because this is the gear I ripped out of the wing a few months back, let's just say hard landings + small soft wheel + end of strut sticking out past the axle is not a good combo, and I have addressed all 3 of those issues...
