As often as not, this is how Horizon does business with their Spektrum radios.

Their radios might cost a bit more than those cheap imports, but IMHO, you get what you pay for. I've got a DX7 and a DX8, along with about 10 receivers. All have been flawless over the past six years. A couple of years ago, I shipped in a DX7 transmitter and five receivers "For a Check Over". Yup, got them back, completely checked over, no charge, not even for return shipping. And, none were in warranty.
