Keep the airspeed up.

Keep the turns wide. A tight turn will bleed off speed and the EDF will not hold your airspeed like a prop driven airplane.

EDFs are not good at producing static thrust. They are OK for pushing an airplane at speed.

In some cases you have to chop throttle to recover from a stall.
