They appear reasonably well priced to me but it depends on what you compare them with.
I guess you have to bear in mind that the following is included in the cost but will be lacking in cheaper brands and especially in clones:
- They are fully built virtually ready to fly. Building is labour intensive (machines cant do it) so this adds a lot to cost.
- They come with dealer network support, excellent customer service and good warranty.
- They come with good manuals written in real English.
- They have been tested and developed and dont rely on the end user fixing a multitude of issues like many cheaper products do
If you are looking for cheaper RTF alternatives for helis the choice is limited. HobbyKing do a RTF 450 clone heli but be prepared to address quality issues if you go that route.
