a "lipo bag"? I've been charging it in the tx sitting beside me on the table while watching tv, should I do the charging somewhere else? I don't want to take chances. I currently store the heli, battery and spare, unused battery still in the bag it came in, in a plastic file box..I don't have a separate workshop or anything. Thanks for info... don

just put them in a glass bowl they are not a problem if it does not swell up. its the larger batteries that can cause a problem if they go bad. check the threads on batteries to get up to on them

With tiny batteries like that there really is very little risk. I just keep my micro batteries in the box with the plane/heli. I figure that if they ship that way from the factory it cant be so bad.
BTW...If storing long term then best to charge/dischage to about 3.8v. Storing fully charged long will damage the battery. |

Thanks for the info...I am considering a lipo sack anyway, just to err
on side of caution...don't know how many charges I'll get out of original battery...figure if the flite time starts to drop on it, I'll let it discharge and the take to radio shack.. don |
