That's the LANXIAN F16 70mm EDF .... pal gave it to me after he crashed it so many times it was basically a bag of bits. He also used it for bits to keep his Multiplex EDF going ... cut of elevators, part of fin, tail pipe, ripped out motor / EDF unit, etc. She was a real mess. The shop had sold it to him as a 4S machine ... WRONG !
I made parts for it ... put it back together ... fittted new EDF unit and motor ... but she'needs a better motor to handle 5S. The recc'd motor I fitted is rubbsih and can only handle 4S. I tried a 5S - but she soon protested and I landed - waiting new motor on order. She flies well on 5S though .. bit heavier and larger than the usual 70mm F16 .. this was the Grey version with all the underwing gear and retracts etc. I left her bare hand launch with no extras to weigh her down. Cheers Nigel |

Red Square Models ....... which according to the address on the Box is UK !
It flies on 3S 2200 ... has a 3840 Turnigy motor ... 10x6 prop. Fibreglass fuselage, built up wings. Flight ? Very nice - but needs care on landing with that tapered wing. Nigel |

Oh, and what happened to your bipe with the folding prop? Is that one the Ultimate in the pic?

I'm watching the maiden right now! You just sorted out the ailerons after running off people who walked in front of you. LOL!

Yep - in the rush to get to the airport - I missed sorting the ailerons properly.
I was a bit 'annoyed' that people walked in front of model knowing I wanted to take-off ! The landing was messed up as I forgot runway has a significant rise to the centre. The runway is not flat ... Nigel |

Nice. I used to think that kind of assortment of planes was a little crazy. Now I think, "I've got more planes than that."
