Those guys are not providing a good image for RC flying. Someone could get hurt doing that . Guess they never saw anyone get cut with a little propeller going 15K RPM.

These guys are great pilots and just out having fun. The motors on these wings are not turning 15k. This wing is very light and if it was going to hit anyone, they know to cut the throttle right away. No one was hit in the video. Just showing some fun is all.

volco, join date 2007? you've been around long enough to know this kind of flying always receives poor reviews here at wattflyer. not because we're to old to have fun,but because we voice responsibility to point out bad flying when seen.

flying anything toward the flight line and tables is not smart. certainly not cool, and not very good pilots for beginners to follow by their example.

8 post's since joining in 2007,did you expect another response other than this.......i don't think so.

narrow is the place to land...wide is the space to crash....choose the narrow way!

Noted that you deleted your first posting in this thread.

Thank you, very good decision.

A few years back, when I was using my JR Max 66 with a nice long aerial, I would practice combat manoeuvres where I would fly towards myself, in a power dive, until I took the ribbon off the top of the aerial with the pusher prop I would fly faster and faster until I could do it with split second timing.....BUT always alone, in an empty paddock, with no chance of damaging anything or anyone. Of course it was reckless and border line suicidal, and I told no-one at the time, but it did improve my combat reflexes quite markedly. This kind of behaviour, in hindsight, was pretty stupid, as we all know a sudden malfunction would have seen me with a frontal lobotomy, blinded, whiplash etc etc. Then again, I have to also dive for cover from falling motors and batteries from mid air collisions during really vicious dogfights, as well as getting chased by the bull from the neighbouring paddock I don't do it any more, and besides, those 2.4 aerials don't give much ducking space......

If you want to push the boundaries and test your "skill" ( or irresponsibility ), its up to you. Just don't infringe on the rights of others, consider the consequences, and be prepared to accept the responsibility of your actions. There are enough drunk drivers, speed freaks, lunatics and madmen around now, and we don't need to swell their ranks.

I now know not to support Aerobeez since they support this type irresponsible flying.

I do take it seriously enough to not buy or recommend a manufacturer that thinks irresponsible flying is acceptable.

"WOO-HOO" is right, with a title like that we may be looking at another never ending thread!

"Give a man a plane and he'll fly for a day.
Teach a man to build a plane and he'll fly for a lifetime"
