Default Futaba S3115 dies.

My S3115 died and it's less than a year old. Made in China and not Japan like the older servos that I have. What can you do ? I ordered a new one and I might repair the one that failed but when you add up the shipping and time envolved it's better to get a new one. FishHawk

Servos are Cheap, I think that one sells for about $19.99, When servos go bad, I Just cut off the wire at the servo, and save the servo for gear parts incase i strip a gear on a servo, its not worth trying to repair the electronics in a cheap servo, your just asking for trouble.

I may be getting Older, But I Refuse to grow Up I am Having to much Fun to Grow Up LOL

Default Thank you for your input.

You are correct, it's not worth repairing the servo. The repair costs are high to discourage repair and to sell more servos. FishHawk
