4-Channel UAV Predator

I orderd a 4-Channel UAV Predator and seam to have a small motor never seen a 290ED was looking for a brushless setup for the plane not much room motor is in the back do want to use the space the motor fits in not chop has anyone seen a 290 ED maybe someone can give me a idea about its size so i can order a brushless motor to fit it.thanks

Best thing is to wait and measure the motor and it's mount, find something from there. It probably takes longer but it's better than buying twice.
I've wondered about those, curious how big of a battery you can get in there for really long flights, maybe carry a wireless camera too.

Joe the stock battery is a 9.6v-108V 600-1000mAh NIMH not knowing its size from a view point but i have a couple 9.6v 600's and a 1000 it has some weight i am hopeing to go 3c 1100 or larger will know monday for sure let you know then and darkside will post a pic soon thanks for the reply

OK here is what it came down to in the Box one Predator RQ-1L radio servos installed looks from my measurement motor is 1&1/4 long has a gear box and 1 inch round but you have room to use a motor into 2 inches long and 1 inch round all foam plane light for sure very small screws motor cover in a thin plastic it woint stay on long for sure lol now Brushless wil be the move up now oh and battery is a MIAH 2-8AA 600

Does the gearbox mout onto a stick?
what size prop came with the kit?

IT uses a 8x6 prop and no the gear box does not mount on a stick you can see from my gallery But i have seen this plane quote the same plane but has a different motor a 380 motor and different radio system

you could get a BP21 on there w/fw mount. It'll give you ~20 oz of thrust on a 8040 prop. If you need a brushless motor/esc combo pm me

Well i found a brushless motor that will fit and work well the eflight 4200 KV but i decided to just sell the works and go with another plane yes i have the eflight park 4200 kv motor brushless and battery 3c 1320 and charger and thanks for the help

i just ordered one with lipo and brushless 2850 havnt flown it yet but it sounds awesome, for a foamy, hopefully no wind 2maro and i can go dial it in. check out raidentech , assembly was a little sketchy (main wings) but i think it should fly
