Just finished assembling this one and took a few progress snaps.. I found the instructions easy to follow but left some details to the imagination..ie screw sizes. The model is very well manufactured and everything fitted well and very neatly..A few little things let it down a bit but nothing that cant be fixed by a semi experienced builder.. just a bit of trimming with hobby knife to free up elevator which rubs on fuselage, and trimming around pushrod outlets. They seem to bend around and rub on parts rather than a straight push.. So i guess either trimming or bending pushrod to make for free action... Weather not permitting at moment but eager for maiden as this was my choice for first model but saw Easyfly and the rest is history.. Cheers Darren ![]()

Maidened it today,
Man this thing has some power.. hang on getting ahead of myself here... Took it out to my oval today did the usual cockpit/range checks.. All turned out good, so did a little taxiing around, got sick of that fairly quick. So turned into the wind and powered up. It shot forward took off in the shortest distance ever and headed vertical.. I had to power back to half throttle any more and all it wanted to do was head for the stars... This thing is massively overpowered. Not complaining tho LOL.... It will fly around happily on 1/3 throttle. Everything you would have expected stable, responsive awesome flyer... a little trimming and away you go...also glides like model with twice the wing span... Had 2 flights with it and thoroughly enjoyed them both, more than happy smiles all round.... |
