Don't do what I did (this is only my second foam build) and consider this the easy part. Take your time on pasting together the tiles. Pays off big later. Everything i fly is made of bluecor minus one Stick, got lots of experience rolling the stuff too. never liked the tiled pdf's but i do it B/C i have to. too poor to buy anything rtf. lol hopefully i can stumble through it.

It is very VERY close to scale. I have one more PDF of the 42" WS Micro Pitts that would not upload if you want it PM me your e-mail address.

the other PDF is of wings with ailerons and a layout of the landing gear

If you build the pitts from Bluecor FFF you will need to cut down the wing and fuse formers a tad
now if you build from Dollar tree foam or 4 Millimeter Coroplast you will not have to cut any of the formers down.

Wow, relapse. I'm back from the dead. Still haven't kicked this thing but I'm well enough to post and get back to prepping. Actually did end up with pneumonia and in the hospital for a couple of days. They may want a kidney in return since I don't have any insurance...I'm going to owe more on this than I do my house once it's all over...Did get the pick of the Pitt's, looks awesome Mike. I'll pick up where I left off (again), just have to take it easy. Doc tells me I was pretty close to getting into REAL trouble with this illness (like dying). Sickest I've ever been for sure. Got to get some pics of you gits too, build any basses? I may be looking once I'm back on my feet. He did find a Carvin fretless, but the price was so obscene I don't even want to talk about it. I'm already in debt up to my eyeballs. Luckily I think I already have everything I need for the Corsair, minus the decals and canopy. May have to mold it myself. Anyhow, let me know how everythings going my man.

I just added this thread and the MicroPitts plans to The Best Full Fuse Plans and Build Guides.

How do you draw up a Sketchup model like that? Sorry to hijack ur thread.

Chris Glad you are feeling better! I hope to get started back on the Corsair Thursday which is about the amount of time it will take for my foam to get here from Atlanta. I Should have a Dollar Tree Ready Board Pitts Bipe roughed in by that time

I'll be in here on Thursday Mike. Yeah this has been a rough month to say the least. My wife had this stuff too but she faired a lot better. Then again she hasn't done some of the stupid stuff I've done (like flying in the cold and doing yardwork in the cold and drizzle). I got out and did a lot of stuff the first day I was feeling better and relapsed. She's watching me now to make sure I don't over do it on Dr.'s orders! I'm just not one to lay in bed all day, drives me nuts.

Thanks FoamHeadMike. I will try a sketchup for fun soon. I love the bass. I love people who make their own instruments! I play trombone, guitar, and piano myself.

Great looking bass Mike, had a Fender Mustang Bass that was my all time favorite with a Jazz tube amp stack. Rattle the rafters, maybe that's why I can't hear so well nowadays! Always liked the jazz Bass too, classic (do love the corvette yellow). Back to r.c., I'm feeling much better and have the patterns all put together (again) first fuse didn't go so well (at least the tail section) but I'm learning. Keep cracking the tail section when rolling it, I'll put 3m tape on it this time and remove it once it's all rolled and in place. Let you know how it progresses. Have a good evening all.

Slap a red cowl on that and it's good to go...looks kinda Andy Warholish...Got sidetracked myself working on an Eindecker, found some really simple plans and basically built it in two nights. The Corsair's gonna be a project but I have a feeling it'll be one I'm proud of when finished. Have some paint I found that's perfect for the Corsair blue, actually it's CSX blue, made for trains I think but it's Pasche so I know it's good paint and it's never been opened. One of these day's I'll organize my supplies, I'm finding all kinds of goodies in the garage and in my tool chest that I'd forgotten about, bought when I actually had some money!!
