We all wish to get back what we spend on items that we want to discard. However, that is not very often achieved as people will just go to the supplier and purchase the item WITH A WARRANTY of some sort. Buying from a private owner (know or unknown) is based on shear trust that the owner is honest. So, most of us folk who are looking outside the commercial industry are looking for a price break. If you are selling your stuff for the same price as I can buy it from a "reputable" vendor, why should I buy it from you?

I have some GREAT hesitation to pay $600 for equipment I have never seen from a private seller who I don't know. It's a matter of trust that has been tainted by years of experience.

Make your items WANTED by buyers (price or incentives).

Just an observation from a seller/buyer of RC equipment.
