Probably not, because you dont see them blowing across the flight line and pits like you see EaZyUps doing. X-Shades are the attached canopy that is good in wind over 20 mph. It fits into the receiver hitch on your truck and you have secure shade. I've got a hitch RX on my trailer just for the X-Shade! Ive got one BRAND NEW IN PACKAGE, the FULL KIT for $150 thats more than 40% off!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The idea for X Shade came from the auto racing track, where stand-alone, pop-up, canopy-style shelters were being blown down the pit lane by the wind. X Shade provides a 7-foot by 7-foot, umbrella-style canopy that mounts into your vehicle's trailer hitch so it won't blow away in the breeze. That concept, brought to our flight line, means NO POLES TO TRIP OVER! No corner poles to catch wings on! The canopy is waterproof and coated with a 100-percent ultraviolet light-blocking material. Standard canopies are available in blue, red, white, silver, green, yellow or camouflage colors, YOU CAN HAVE CHOICE! The X Shade weighs 30 pounds and comes in its own carrying bag. It also comes with a hitch adapter so it fits not only the standard 2-inch receiver but also the smaller 1.5-inch receivers used on some minivans and crossover vehicles. A stand-alone receiver with an auger-type base that can be screwed into the ground will be available soon from X Shade, which is based in Alamo, Calif... The X Shade deluxe pack includes the X Shade in your choice of color, the hitch base (pole), hitch stabilizer (a bracket that stabilizes the shade in windy conditions), a hitch pin, hitch adapter (for the 1.5-inch hitch) and carrying bag is priced at $249.95. ![]() ![]() X SHADE opens up in 30 seconds or less! The X SHADE has all of the qualities that a canopy has, but no legs. No stakes to pound into that hard dirt. It opens up much faster with just a few cranks and it will never blow away. X SHADE FEATURES and BENEFITS Umbrella Type Canopy Opens in 30 seconds or less Easily sets up with one person Will not blow away Includes convenient umbrella carry bag Easy to store High Quality UV 100% coated and water proof Fits Most 11/4" - 2" Receiver Hitches Expanded Dimensions: 7' x 7' square, adjustable height Folded Dimensions: 60" x 8" x 8" Weight: 26lbs Use the X Shade for: Flying Day Motorcycle Events Business Construction Outdoor Adventure Mountain / Road Biking Camping and Fishing Farming Tailgating at Sport Events Outdoor Construction Events Includes 7' x 7' Race Shade Hitch Base Carry Bag for Umbrella Hitch Adapter 11/4"- 2" receiver Hitch Pull Pin Hitch Stabilizer BUT GET THIS ONE FOR ONLY $125.
