Default How to bench test a Esky rx

I normally fyl airplanes that have BEC rx, I purchase a parts lot that had some 72mhz 6ch Esky 0420 & 0420A receivers. I guess these are not BEC and need 4.8v battery to operate the rx so I have a few questions:

1. Does the Esky's heli use one battery to supply power to the rx & esc or do they have seperate ones if so, what is the voltage.
2. The rx has 6 channel solts for standard 3 pin serovs/escs and one 3 pin slot marked (B) battery, I need to hook them up to a battery and bench check them, what pins go to what? + - ,

Esky heli run with buildin BEC inside the ESC (I can't think of one running a seperate battery pack or external BEC) rated by 4.8V. The 0420 and 0420A will work with 4.8-6V but as you know most planes or heli servo is only rated at 4.8V. So it is better to test it at 4.8V to ensure it will not fried your servo's.

For the connector the pin close the to edge (side) of the receiver is -ve, the one in the middle is +ve and the one close to the center is signal (white). It really doesn't matter which plug you plug the battery into as the receiver can be powered by any ch.
