Default jerky starting CURED

A friend of mine has a plane with a Turnigy 35-48-900kv motor and a Turnigy Plush 60 amp esc.

On starting, the propeller would jerk back and forth....then usually start, but not always. Sounded pretty bad.

We checked the usual.....all connections and so on....no help.

Using the programming card, we then changed the timing from low to med.....no help.

Then I noticed the "start" was set for "soft".....hummmm, let's try setting the start to "normal"......VIOLA.....problem cured

I've read many posts with similar problems and everyone tries to change the timing, often with no help. Next time, check the "start-up" and maybe try "normal" or some other setting there for a try.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. I have the same equipment and the same problem. That jerkiness is weird and makes one think that the end is near. I will try your fix.

You are welcome. Please let me know how it works for you. If you have the programming card, it is a very easy change.
