LOL Awesome. You know Hobby King is doing something right when other Chinese companies are selling knock-off look-alikes of their products...
Too funny

Considering all the RC stuff comimng out of China via thousands of distributers and web sites are actually all made by a handful of factories in Shenzhen province. Some products are custom orders for certain resellers but mostly it is just rebranding identical items. BTW, China does not recognize patent, copyright and trademark laws internally.

Not Bad!
I caught a glimpse of their Christmas LiPo Sale... thought it said Buy 1 Get 1 Free... I almost bought out the store.Luckily I looked closer and saw it was Buy 5.... Oh Well, still not bad at all if you're planning on getting started with LiPo's. Thanks for the Link |

The most disturbing part is the dead-ringer Scorpion Knock offs... but if you look at the ratings on the motors you know they are suspect - I have a 4020-10 rated to 90A I am working with and their version - seemingly identical down to the serial number etching, is only rated at 50a.
Suspect to say the least. That being said I am a sucker for a cheap LiPo - I might buy a handful of the 1000mAh 3S's for my profile foamies |

Just got my second order. Two 30 Amp ESCes for $10 (including shipping). Very fast shipping and at giveaway prices. Can't be beat!

Yep, just look at the Suppo 2212-6. I can find this exact same motor at about 20 vendors, most with their own label on it. In the end it's still the same motor made by the same factory in China.

At any rate I plan to grab one or two and see. It can also be said that two Chinese companies can have the same CAD/CNC specs for a device but source materials from completely different suppliers - right here I am thinking about the magnets and the bearings. |
