I wonder if any of you can help me. I plan on building a Grumman Goose, around the 80ins w/s as I have a set of drawings I can enlarge to that size. I reckon I will be flying mostly off of land, so need retractable u/c and heres my question I need details of the landing gear, do any of you know where I can find such information? Have any of you built one in the past and dealt with the retract problem? I keep coming up blank, I can't find a decent book with the details, the only plastic models I could find, are currantly out of stock of!....I'm beginning to get desperate chaps...please help. ![]() Any information will be appreciated. Regards Al. |

Do not Judge, or you too will be Judged. For in the same way you Judge others, you will be Judged, and with the same measure you use, it will be measured to You.

TM and Chellie.....Thankyou both very much for your help, its greatly appreciated. The links provided have helped a great deal, and with your help this project will now happen.
This is the kind of thing these forums are brilliant at, helping out other modellers worldwide. So from a cold and wet UK.....sincere and genuine thanks. Regards...Al. |

When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, in his sleep...... Not screaming like the passengers in his plane.

I have never found any Goose ARFs....but have seen a Electricfly 51" wingspan rendition of the Grumman Widgeon! Not too much of a build to have it flight ready!
