Has anyone flown the VH 40" or 39" Yak 54 profile planes?

I'd say for the price they're worth a gamble. I am building their 40" "hybrid profile", which actually has a very narrow full fuse. I just lack mounting the motor and ESC and it's ready for a maiden. I've looked at the 40" profile. I think it would probably fly great if you kept it light, and for the price you wouldn't be too upset if it didn't.

I'll try to post a link next time. Actually I have since bought the planes on e-bay. They are the VH profile Yaks. They both look very nice. Couldn't decide on one so bid on both and ended up with the pair for under $80. Again I apologize for my lack of computer skills. I really like plane you mentioned but don't have any gear for that size plane

No biggie, this is a really friendly site, any links to what you ended up with? I am also looking to build a "Cheap" 3D plane myself (Just purchased a 3DHS 48" Edge and 4 65-MG's, etc.). I have a DX8, and I'd like to put together a plane for questionable days using Hobbyking servo's, orange RX, etc. This looks like a nice option. In the future, your posts will bring more discussion with added links to the items you are posting about. It helps you more than anything. Thanks for bringing these to my attention, good to see these inexpensive options available!
