---Red Baron R/C Modelers---Located in South-Eastern Idaho, our flying field is located west of Shelley, between Pocatello to the South, and Idaho Falls to the North. The flying field is located within the North Bingham County Park, west of Shelley, Idaho. 1000-foot grass runway - 500-foot asphalt runway. All types of flying welcome but AMA membership/insurance is REQUIRED Monthly Club-Night activity (meetings) are on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:30PM. May-September are held at the field, October & November held at field if good weather, winter meetingsare held at the Aeromark building at the Idaho Falls Airport. Traveling through? Stop and fly with us. Directions: From I-15, take exit #108 Travel east across the Snake River, Turn into the Park, the flying field is at the far south end. The park has a small campground (limited hookups) |

Mmmmm Idaho - I would love to come fly with you thanks for the invite. Originally from Burley and we are actually driving from Burley to Kalispell for family VC this year.

A Google Earth search for "North Bingham County Park, Idaho" should take you to the overhead view, with the flying field being in the lower right (south-east) corner of the park (look for the grass and paved runways).
We also have pictures posted on our Facebook page (can't post link here cause I don't have enough previous posts - makes perfect sense to someone I'm sure) Search Facebook for "Red Baron R/C Modelers". |
