There really are no hard set rules you must obey other than to get the CG close enough to fly. I have made over 50 designs and most flew very well.

You can google flying wing cg calculator and you will find a calculator that you can put in measurement and it will show the wing design and cg.

Well I got my maiden flight in and she flies but my dx 5 transmitter just has the switches for low and high rates and I was on low but I need a radio where I can dial in some expo the roll rates are very fast and the wing is fast, But she flies.

I'd go with a DX8. I've got 1 and so does my son. I use duel rates on all my slope fighters, because depending on the wind, I need to be able to adjust them. Makes a big difference in how they fly. The DX8 is great, in that you can get the orange Rx from hobbyking and they are a lot cheaper than the Name brand... I've been using them the last 8 months and have had no failers due to the orange Rx's.
