funjet ultra painting question

i have read that if you use krylon fluorescent paint you need a a bright undercoat or the dark gray foam shows thru, can i use plain krylon gloss white as the undercoat, and is there any special surface prep for this type foam. i am shooting for a white underbelly and wings with some form of colored stripes. also is krylon paint totally compatible with this foam. thank you.

yes,yes, and yes.
absolutely use a white undercoat on that gray foam.
i learned the hard way about the undercoat,i used the krylon florecent paints on foam with no problem. but look at the difference between the funjet and the white foam hk parkjet.
