I have a Turnigy SK5055-580 Aerodrive XP (580KV), and am looking for what size the bearings are, and if anyone knows what bolt-on prop adapter I can pick up as a spare. (so far mine does not seem to be having magnets come loose or having the bell slide out of position) This motor has been superseded twice, first by the 50-55B-600kv (which aside from color looked the same), and now by the L5055B-600, which looks a bit different in construction but still quite similar. BOCA shows a similar motor (50-55a 400kv) as taking two of the 8 x 12 x 3.5mm bearing. |

Get the original bearings out... and measure them?

As a last resort, sure, but I want to avoid the down-time.
Also, I'd like to avoid purchasing multiple replacement bolt-on prop adapters just to find which one fits. I think it is absolutely absurd hobbyking can not tell me what size bearings are in it. This motor has an 8mm shaft, HK customer service sent me a link to a 6mm collet and a set of 6mm bearings... |

Awesome, thanks.
Kit shows (2x) ID 8mm x OD 12mm x Width 3.5mm (1x) ID 8mm x OD 16mm x Width 5mm I have received but not tried on a bolt-on prop adapter that looks exactly the same as the original, I'll post up if I ever get around to trying it. http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...Adapter/Detail |
