This one has been on sale lately, and purchased this one. Is complete RTF, Brushless Motor, 1500 Lipo, 2.4Ghz transmitter. Easy on the throttle gives more of the predictable handling, can turn on you over half to full throttle, be alert. Find not a windy ship. Found an early winter thermal and indeed rises especially if your skilled there. Wants to move out faster than compared to say Radian. Could be a handful for a newbie at the start, experienced sailplane pilot suggested. Read threads on this one and indeed can easily turn on you with throttle, so again go easy at the start. Not as forgiving as others but still enjoying mine, landings are great, able to set it down like a feather, just give it room, large open area, pure fun.

Thanks, I continue having fun with this one. Caution on the launch, lower throttles give better stability on release, near or just above half works best. If it does nose up and turn, pulses of down elevator usually level things out, adjust throttle accordingly. First launches place battery slightly forward, move back to normal as your handling improves. Power off at altitude things handle much smoother, if your skilled at sensing lift indeed thermals, 2 meter size does well, find it moves faster than other models. Landings are easy, again have a sizable open field, it sets down beautifully with ending flare up elevator last moment. Find this one a great bargain if you catch it on one of the sales, all smiles.

Really don't suggest this one for a first sailplane, any prior glider experience your more likely to handle this one. Has a touch of speed for fun sporty flights. Don't suggest early flights during windy conditions, tho steady breeze will help on initial launch. If your successful with some throttle, finds altitude rather quickly, nice.

The launch character sounds very similar to the Radian.

You may try moving the CG back and retrimming the elevator. This might help reduce that nose up tendency.

Enjoyed the Radian, only slightly similar as flown both, Radian is far more forgiving but your correct Radian can turn as well, tho less likely with correct settings and handling.

The RTF model has correct COG Velcro already inserted, instructions correctly advise to keep things forward and gradually set battery back as you gain the feel for this one. Comparing the two this one moves out abit faster and definitely will likely turn for the novice. Fortunately read other posts else would likely ditch it on launch, are reports of hitting hard into the turf breaking the nose, is an easy fix as foam model.

Your definitely correct on adjustment, but easy on throttle with this one especially at the start.

Just back from a fun flight, too early for thermal, but beautiful long glides In a pleasing Mackeral Sky, what a site! Battery is back now, near zero winds at half throttle went up straight as an arrow, surfaces flush. Throttles it still shows the turn tendency, likely it's behavior. Fly ahead and some success with more throttles, seasoned glider pilot should handle this one easily. This one is a great value watch for it on sales.

Other day Did catch an early winter thermal for about 6 minutes, brief but cool to see it go up with no power.

It's not a Radian, but a fun ride, I like it!

Not sure I understand the "turn tendency". I thought you were talking about an increasing climb tending toward a loop. But you said turn. Why is it turning?

Turns are caused by rudder out of trim or ailerons out of trim. Assuming these are not the issue, and knowing this is a foam glider, then I would suspect the fuse is not dead on straight.

Turn it over and site down the belly seam, nose to tail. Is it straight? I bet it is not.

Certainly any mentioned add to the issue, but check out the wings, are not swept up as the Radian, is a difference. In my hands less forgiving, perhaps pilot here. But lower throttle is your friend getting the feel for this one. Flown both models, simply are not the same.

These short daylight are killing me, work an hour later today, cloudy but amazing warm temps, brief flight easy throttle pretty going up, high enough to let it glide, even no lift 15 minute ride. Have a soccer field and adjoining baseball nice and lengthy area. Is a sweetheart on landings turns to eventually lower still went a few feet past, max elevator last moments lightly skims in, this ones fun.

After several flights, over half throttle noses up to a stall followed by turning, flying ahead can reduce this example pulses of down elevator helps. Easier throttles is very easy handling, landings are great. Did look at the bottom fuse looks straight, control surfaces flush. Again not the higher swept up wing as the Radian, perhaps demanding the attention. Still it's a decent flyer, my pilot errors may be part of all this. Anyone experience with gliders likely enjoy this one. I'm not new to gliders, but far from the champion flyer as met one, no thermals, micro lift skimming the ground, met his duration back from down wind, other decked flyers lost lots of betting money that day, really was something to witness!!!
