Sorry for the late notice, but KCAM is having a Toys-For -Tots drive tomorrow and I though a few of you fine upstanding gents might be interested in donating.
December 2, from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Kent County Aero modelers (650 Mahan Corner rd near Sandtown), is having a Toy Drive to benefit the Marine Corp Toys for Tots campaign. Below are the items being accepted: • New unwrapped toys with a value of $10.00 or more • Money It has been brought to our attention by the Marine Corp Reserve that they receive a lot of donations of toys for younger children, but not a lot for the 9 to 14 year age group. So please keep that in mind when making your purchases. |
||
|
I do not care how much you paid for it; it is still a toy.

Almost a great day. The Red Baron Triplane flew great. The Spitfire flew great with the new 11x7 prop. The extra 300 needs landing gear work. Structural problem. Will the Predator had a great flight....then the second flight nosed in from base to final approach....total loss.

News from the high command is that the claims of a Predator Drone crash did not happen. There is no evidence at the crash site. It can not be verified or denied. We can't have information like this get out. The photo is pure propaganda. ![]() Anyone flying today? |

Mike, what is the wingspan on the predator? You can leave the servos in and I will give you a pair of Hitec servos in trade.

flew my Blade 120fp around my house, 4 packs over the weekend.... lol I was shooting lots of verticals and doing some rudder type turns back down to a dive... love this thing but now it is time for a new blade
Collective pitch style. RTF for now Newjak is right on. small slow inputs and minor corrections if she gets shakey in turns. I finally learn to maintain a good flying speed too

You live only once... Bought the blade nano cp x at GeForce in delaware. Couldn't resist lol. They have a new promotion now. For every 25 dollars in value, well you earn 5 bucks for up a certain amount.... Forget the full details but I got about 5 tickets valued at 5 dollars to spend on my next visit. Woohoo right?

Beyondtheblue, newjak , or justind.... Need some quick advice.
Gave the nano co x a quick whirl this afternoon. Wowzer! Smooth as butter. It flies like it is Twice the size. Felt very smooth. Still have that tiny issue with the flybarless I think. It was less than hardly no wind out. But I tried to spin it and again it went off path and accelerated into the ground upright tho. My first reaction is to panic and slam the throttle shut...I wanna think to Start in high rates then switch to low after forward speed is achieved. Good idea? It has a throttle hold switch too but the manual says that is for 3d. |

Very true ... They said the head speed will pick up after 3 Lipo cycles. Stock normal throttle curve is 0 . 40. 60. 80. 100 ... Low rate switch/pitch curve is 30% 40% 50% 75% 100% ... Should give you some idea. I know you can physically see lots of negative pitch
Where I had it earlier... |
