Default champ issues

My champ will not work with remote.
Light on remote comes on solid and light in plane blinks but and I cant get them to bind. Pushing in stick seems to do nothing, I never get blinking on remote.

Thanks

Hi check out this tutorial www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrNWzulX160. Remember to leave the tx off when putting the battery into your champ. Then push the tx control arm in while turning the tx on that should do it. If you follow the tutorial you should have no problems

Be sure the Tx is not too close to the plane when binding and connecting. Also don't do it near large metal objects like a vehicle or metal top table.

Think your on to something......took it out of my trunk and it blinded and flies again. THANKS

Now where can I get flyn lessons. I had a 3 minute flight today a new personal record. Love this little thing.

Are all RC planes as susceptible to wind as this one? I know this is really light and I'm sure that plays a huge roll in this but I hate that I cant fly it when there is ANY wind. I'm sure it does not help that I'm a beginner.

Beginner = susceptible to wind
Small and light = same
Both together > challenging
The Champ has become very popular but this is definitely one of it's weaknesses.

Larger and heavier works better in wind. Costs more and may crash with more damage (inertia). More expensive to fix.
Faster and more streamlined (jets, deltas) also work better but are more challenging for new fliers.

fly
If you're going to learn to fly them, you have to learn to fix them.
