Hacker motor question

I am building a Cessna 421 twin.Recomended motor is a .46.Looking at the Hacker motor chart I would say a A50-12s2 should be a .46.Looking for advice.Thanks Dean

That would certainly be easily enough, probably an elemant of overkill if anything. A 46 glow moter will give maybe 600-750W at the prop. The A50-12s is rated for over 1200W input power which is about 1000W at the prop.

A bit of over-specing on the motor isn't a bad thing providing weight isn't excessive.

Thanks for the help,Still not confident with this being a twin.I wish the motor manufactures would standerize there power numbers.I will probably go with slighly lower power motor.Thanks again
