Hobbyking have the same MX2 in their USA warehouse for a bit less and it apparently has a 70Amp ESC upgrade: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html
Reports seem to suggest that it's ok providing you don't really expect to fly serious 3D. The MX2 is really a totally different proposition to the PZ Extra. The MX2 is 55" span and over 4lb, the extra is 36" span and 2lb. |

For me bigger is better LOL. I love my UMX Sbach and Beast, but I just have a really hard time keeping track of them when they get very far away.
Thanks |

OK I bought the MX2 and a Zippy 2650 mAh 20C lipo. I'm trying to see if I need to also get an adapter to get the battery to plug into the plane. The batter says it has a discharge plug type XT60 but the MX2 does say what it has. I looked at some videos of the unboxing and took some screen shots to try and tell what type of plug the MX2 has. What do you think?

Looks like an XT-60 (which most planes from Hobbyking come with).
Your battery is rather low on 'C' rating for that plane. It's got a 70A ESC so if it were me I'd be specifying a battery that was capable of 70A, probably more because Hobbyking over-rate their C numbers. From Hobbyking I'd be looking at a battery with a C number of 35 or more. The one you have might be ok but the voltage will probably sag a lot under load and it might not last long. |

Thanks.
Looking at a new LiPo now and wondering what is the difference between a 4S and a 4S1P ? Will a 4S1P work when it calls for a 4S ? |

Its the same thing
4S = four cells in series (14.8v) 1P = one cell in parallel Usually they miss out the '1P' part because most batteries are 1P until you get into massive batteries where cells of high enough mAh arent available in a single cell so you have to double up (2P) |

I am wondering also ! I bought this plane & didn't read up about it. So far when the esc pooped out--they replaced it with a 40 amp esc---fixed that issue---drawing 32-35 amps. Yes the wings appear to be upside down ?
