The runway, while grass, is rolled periodically and is pretty smooth. Just about every bird I saw you guys fly at the school can take off and land on it. Even my Tower P-51 and the cub before I put the tundra tires on it.
For me, it is just nice to have a covered pit area with tables, no worries about the runway (school parking lot) having cars it it and being able to fly any day I want instead of just Sundays or hoping the local parks like Schutte are not in use so I can fly there. That and no obstacles in the aerodrome. |

cool thanks for the info jerry. I ordered some parts for my heli and I wanted one spare battery and got 3
Wow I am shocked. I knew they were a good company and I told myself they were my choice but now I am locked at for a long time. also got a $30 multirotor basically the same as the Eflite version but WAY cheaper.

flew some more nano cp x flights. It will only behave in calm conditions. very fast . cracked up the canopy and broke the skid so far. it's a little too nimble... i do not like the flybarless basically cause like I mentioned before it takes a little more aileron to straight up and also requires a lot of inputs to correct any direction to stabilize it back to a hover. I am going with a flybar heli like the Blade SR I think

I have a blade sr I learned collective pitch on. Needs a new 2 in 1 unit though since I crashed it into a tree last October. Put in the second defective one the other day from the hobby shop. Not the hobby shop's fault but it is a 45 min drive to Seaford. Gotta call Horizon and see if they will help me out and just send me a new one. Frustrated
