chelie but 0 to 3 would be upwards i thaught 3deg down so as per ur ex[planation whr would the fuse b,i got the degree part ,on the fuse how would down b..... question depron 5mm should i use for wing.ribs, elev,rudder right so full plane built with 5mm depron .......am i correct.chellie sorry need to clear my doubts 5mm full plane all parts

the protractor is just showing what 3 degrees looks like, its not to be applied as up thrust, we are just showing what 3 and 5 degrees looks like, then you apply that amount of down thrust to the motor, the down thrust helps to load the main wing to stabilize the plane, hope that helps, Chellie

the 5 mm depron will work great, brace the stabilizer where it attaches to the fuse at with balsa as in the picture, foam alone is not strong enough by itself.

hey chellie ,check the diagram i drew is it correct 3deg but down from fuse,to brace the stabilizer where it attaches to the fuse how many mm balsa should i use ,i have ordered for 5mm depron and will use it to build all parts of the ss,another question i had was is the battery fine jst behind the motor as the fuse is of TWO parts please have a look let me know,planning to put servos behind joint as i will b dismantling it as in the pic below

Hi The battery placement will depend on the CG balance point, the CG will be at 25% back from the main wing front leading edge, you will need to move the battery or wing fowards or back to get the Proper CG. the Plane will tell you where the down thrust wants to be at, start at 3 degrees down thrust and adjust if needed, you cant use MM to get the down thrust, you need to use degrees, you can Eyeball the amount of degrees by using the protractor . like i said, 3 degrees is not very much.

just add 2 washers on the 2 bottom holes to lessen the amount of down thrust on the mount that you already have,

2-need ur help making under cambered wing 48inch polydihedral with ribs wanted to knw if i hav to put a rib between the wing cords and the dihedral breaks ............where the arrows are pointing below in the pic below

hey chellie ,ive recvd the depron found out that 48 WS is to to big max i can make wing span is 34inches will it work with my electronics if YES,then what size elev and rudder to go for or should i stick to the same, i want to make only ss i love the way it looks

make the wingspan 36" and you can make the tail feathers the same size as in the plans, hope that helps, Chellie

hi chellie, dint do polydihedral was ver difficult to shape for the first time depron 5mm, secondly coudnt find the best glue hear used hot glue every were but its quite strong,waiting for basswood for le and te and servos, first build so a bit messy and heavy

chellie help again were can i post this ,this guys a fraud in india..........http://www.rcelectronicworld.co.cc/p...l-sources.html this guy dhiraj rajendra jadhao is a cheat,i ordered for 5 sheets of depron was charged 1400rs,from pune - mumbai recieved it in pieces ,check .pics below on delivery day along with the guy who delivered it,he said he will send new sheets its been 2 months now i have not recieved it,he doesnt answer his phone even,guys from mumbai here a good place to buy heres the adress...abdullatif habibbhoy 196 abdul rehman street,400 003 tel 23425314..........per sheet 60rs thats 6mm sheet around 72inch x 26inch you can call and ask exact size

hey robbin and chellie im not discouraged!.im working on a slow stick again with alliminum fuse removable wing, if it flies will post videos, till then fingers crossed,i am looking for a good combo for my futaba rx r6106hf futaba recievers Size: 0.85 x 1.53 x 0.48" (21 x 39 x 12mm) Weight: 0.24 oz (6.7g) Voltage Range: 4.8 - 7.4V ,looking for prop ,motor,esc,battery to plan a good small 24inch wing span like a hangar rat, please let me know if u have any info on it,im doing my research as well
