Just finishing a 71" Seagull Pilatus PC 9. Took it for taxi test yesterday, Ailerons not up to snuff yet so no flights. Shouls be powered by 1.20 Ci but converted to electric Eflite Pro 160 on ten cells. Wow! Can not wait to finish. Retracts may need some up grading as stock are rugged but not the best action

Bubsteve
Yes I think it is really a great looking plane. Once I saw it I fell in love with the sleekness, etc. This bird should do well over 100 mph and thinking I may go 115 mph with the 20 X 10 prop.
I am trying to research and find more info on a 1/4 scale of this plane or an upgraded P21 from Germany. If I can find it I want to do it with a jet Cat Turbo Prop. Sorry guys I know this is an electrical forum but a real Turbo Prop is on my bucket list
Anyway the PC 9 got A Lot of attention at the field. You really do not see this modeled very often

$99 for the UMX Gee Bee R2 with AS3X. Just unboxed it today, what a sweety. Can't wait for the snow to melt on the runway!

Yeah they are. The Ares Gamma Pro comes with a brushless motor and ESC and an aileron equipped wing. It really flies nicely. BTW - The Ares Gamma Pro is only $99.99 in the ready for receiver package. I got mine for $89.99 so I think I got a deal.

My lovely wife surprised me by going way outside her Christmas budget and getting me this little guy, a Parkzone S.E.5a.

This addiction has to end! I accidentally bought a 3DHobbyShop 72" Extra. I think that ate up most of my plane budget for 2013...

man that sucks. I was going to put it together scabbing servos off of a couple crashed heli's and when we went to put it all together couldn't find the screws or good servo horns. So I ran around town for 3 hours trying to find some Saturday. After failing I just hopped on HK and ordered 10 for the price of 1 locally LOL

I was missing the wire for the tail wheel and the bottom plastic plate for the landing gear .One rear plastic wing tube was 3/4 shorter than the other . I just called them and he told me about their holiday problems and a computer problems but he said he thought it was going to be shipped today. Some how i dont have faith in a word he said so i will just bring it back to the hobby shop were they bought it for me from and exchange it. They can send it back to them and deal with it . lol joe

Not a plane bit I recently picked up a Blade MCP X V2. And have promptly crashed it multiple times lol. These cp heli's are insanely hard to fly.

Soaring ever higher, the wind makes me free.
