Where do you fly?

Good Point. I'm usually a couple hundred feet or more above everything, with plenty of altitude to glide out of harm's way, and an 8 oz. foamy is likely to come out a loser in any encounter. Still, it's something to think about.

Although I am a member of a club I love to fly here in the park. Not as much space as in the airfield, but nice setting and not many people here.

I get to fly in my front yard. Just built a shop that I plan on getting a Night Vapor to fly inside. Wasn't always like that though. I used to travel about 20 miles each way just to be able to have a decent field.

I fly in my front yard, at a nearby schoolyard and a big, empty field a few miles from my house.


Here, I'm being naughty and am across the road from the field, but it gives the best view of my flying field itself.

The new place has room in my backyard that I just have to share with the horses. Nice to have the room but I have to watch where I land...eeewwww!!!

Around the corner and down the street from my house is a new subdivision with an empty street ending in a cul-de-sac. It's a perfect flying place. A paved "runway" about 400+ feet, and at least about a 800 foot radius with no houses... the nearest neighbors are friendly and often come out to watch me fly and ask questions, etc. They like that my electrics are quiet. Apparently someone's been flying glow planes there too.

You fly at the coup??!! lol dunno too many windshields and too many tire thumpers!! I might long ways off from scale house, but yeah... brave at the least I'd get a ticket somehow or someway. lol
