Well it looks like lots of folks got some pretty nice RC related gifts except for the PJ's and coal at least you will be warm on the cold winter nights.

Bill dang your wife says to buy a new plane hauler that's the best one so far. Mine says I need to keep mine going for another 5 years.

arrrrgggggg,i can't believe i got an email today-dec 25th]at 830from shawn at hitec sales saying they don't use the moduel in there 2.4 optic 6's tx's anymore,so if i call wholesaletrains and find out the one i ordered is the new style i'll have to cancel it and switch over all rx's to spectum rx's......maybe the spectrum 6dxi.......this finding a replacement for my hitec stinks...hitec min rx cost $45 thats $25 nore than i ever had to spend with assan.

this is now officaily removed from a christmas present list and put on the bummer list to torture me...lol..... with any luck the tx wholesale trains is selling is an older one with the module.

My family and friends have finally figured out that I am addicted to RC planes. This is a great thing for me! All they ever hear me talk about is RC planes and how I want to start scratch building and design my own planes... So this year everything I got was related to RC!

A dremel attachment kit, a set of hobby knives, a pin drill, a small cutting pad, some books on RC plane designs, a gift certificate to a LHS and a Stevens Aeromodel G-480 Groove kit.

Steve you got some good building stuff from your family. You can't beat having a dremel kit makes shaping and cutting so much easier.

I got a great present from my mother in law last night a winning scratch ticket she gives everyone a ticket for Xmas. I have been saving for a new radio for a little while. Well the ticket was for $400 dollars with what I have been saving it was enough to pick up the radio. I was able to go to my LHS and pick the last 8FG he had. He honored the promotional that futaba has going with the radio a free second R617fs plus this radio came with a hard case that was part of a older promotion.
I made out big time!!!

I have a 36 mHz Optic 6 and love it. There are several modules that you can get thru Hobby King. The Futaba module fits as does Assan and a couple of others. The only beef I have with 36 mHz is the antenna length but I am looking at getting the 2.4 Ghz module for that reason only. I also have the Turnigy 9X and sometimes wonder if I should just buy another of them at $53 instead of updating the Optic. Just use it for gliders or such. Too good to throw away. The Turnigy comes with a receiver and I ordered a spare receiver for $8.99.

You know I am getting nervous when things go this good for me I normally get a visit from Murphy to balance things out.

I received money to put toward my Pulsar Pro 4 meter e-sailplane. It helped as I have all $1600.00 to get me the plane,motor,ESC and servos at one pop. Just waiting for them to be in stock now.

Did a Google search I can see why that one costs so much it is well built quality costs money.

xmech2k thanks my wife and I are real happy for the both of em, and my granddaughter likes her future step dad a lot.

They are nice indeed, I already have a 3.2 meter Pulsar and it's a work of art.
The 4 meter is nick named the Balsa Overcast due to it's size. The cost is not being taken lightly at all, is is a lot of money to put into one aircraft and is the most I've ever considered spending. I'm sure it will be worth it,film at 11...or when she's here and built.
