Talking to Bill it sounds like I'm heading to the Walt Disney World for RC planes got me all excited.

I have made a step up for SEFF. I went and picked up my pop-up camper yesterday. This thing is in great shape for a 20 year old camper. It has been closed up for the last few years. So I was very supprised when I got it set up. It does not have a lot of extras in it. No bathroom/shower, no frig. It does have a small cooler for ice. It has a small stove and a sink. (for when you have hook ups)
I will be turning this into an event only trailer. I will be installing my solar cell stuff in it soon. I hope to have everything done by mid Feb. At 900 pounds. I hope to get a lot better fuel milage than pulling my 26 footer. I hope I will be able to attend more events with it.

Pop-ups are cool,, I'm still in a tent 5 years later, but I only sleep in it 4-5 hr's and it's a hanger the rest of the time,,,, monkey chopper twin needs to go this year, no room the past few, bubsteve

Matt posted this back on Dec 23rd over on RCG.

Planning for SEFF 2013 has started, we held a meeting earlier this month to discuss changes, and there were a lot of great ideas, now it’s time to see if we can make them happen. We hope to have an Event thread started for SEFF Week by the end of January, then each of our Captains will post a thread with a sticky for their specific areas, which they will monitor and field any questions.

We are also working on, and will have a SEFF Week web page (SEFFWeek.com) which will also include the online Pilot Registration, and other information concerning the schedule, field layout, etc...

A lot of behind the scenes work has, and is going on right now to make sure the changes we are proposing will work, and there are a lot of changes for 2013, which have to be finalized prior to making any announcement.

If all goes well at the next planning meeting the later part of January, we will have Web page up and running by the end of January.

The people around me must think I am crazy. 8:30 at night and I'm out cleaning my camper. I had the propane heater running while I scrubed the thing down. It cleaned up nicely. Smells better too. I need to start thinking about hooking up my solar cell and running all of the power cables and stuff. Along with a bunch of other odds and ends.
