Flew my Blade McpX outside late this afternoon after work. Tough too see, since it was getting dark. Although, I think this just makes it more challenging and more fun
Hopefully my parts arrive at the hobby shop on Friday for my Blade 130x. Got a call today that my Microheli hop-ups back ordered, oh well guess I have to wait on those two items

I have a new canopy ordered for my 250. Now I can hang with you guys and your blinged out helis.

My canopy should be here tomorrow. Just in time for this 60 degree weekend! I'm expecting to do a lot of flying.

Nope. Just inviting folks out to a nice flying area. An area that has dedicated runway and pit areas, does not involve public parking lots as runways or flying over people.

Up until the rain arrived, it was a very nice day for flying. This was the first calmish day I had teh Gentle Lady out it. Man is it a nice flying glider.

Really? Flying over peoples heads? When does that happen? The parking lot is empty and you have a choice to land on the grass If you want. Enjoy your field. Its real nice, but don't put us down since you moved on.

From what I have seen we are all responsible flyers having fun with an awesome hobby at the school where I usually fly with you guys. Happy flyin everybody

I'm surprised no one was out flying today. 60 degrees in January! What's up with that?

How was your traffic free flights today?

I worked on my Blade 130x and SR so wasn't able to make it out. Changed tail motor on SR for 2nd time and it still isn't working properly. I have replaced all the electronics on it except for the receiver. I have sent back a new 2 in 1 unit and replaced it with another one. Still having same problem. Tail motor powers up to full power and esc will not initialize. When I unplug the tail motor the esc will initialize, servos work, and main brushless motor powers up and heli will lift off as long as I hold onto the tail. When I crashed it into the tree last year I went to get a ladder. It took about ten minutes to get the ladder and when I got back I realized that when I had flipped the throttle hold switch I forgot to flip the idle up switch back to normal mode. Did I damage the receiver or radio? Seems unlikely, but I am running out of ideas. I also made sure all the switches on the gyro and stock radio are in the correct positions. Called Horizon and they were not very helpful. Guy just told me that it was highly unlikely that I would have the same issue with two new 2 in 1 units and said it must be something else. Definitely frustrated Any suggestions would be appreciated

I flew out at KCAM today. I got 4 good flights in, then I landed short of the runway with a deadstick and bent the gear on my Extra.
