Putting together an brushless upgrade and have been doing alot of reading and can not find an answer for the right prop. I put a 480 eflite, I have a couple of 9x6 props. But i think I would have to drill them out for them to fit. Also how in the world does the spinner stay on the shaft lol. Thanks
The spinner back plate gets sandwiched between the prop adapter flange, the prop hub, and the retaining nut/washer. Some spinners have the back plate behind the prop hub and some in front.
The spinner cone either fastens to the backplate with screws or sometimes is retained by a single screw through the middle that screws into a special nut that goes on the end of the prop adapter shaft.
I've got a feeling that I've probably lost you on this but without drawing a diagram it's hard to explain any better.
I take it that you have hot a prop adapter fitted to the motor/shaft?
